Eligibility Criteria

  • Anyone who in some capacity has been associated with the email (such as email campaign managers, designers, developers, freelancers, email marketers, etc.) can submit their entries for the contest.
  • You should be of 18 or 18+ years of age to participate in this contest.
  • Participating brands associated with the judges’ panel, employees, & official partners of prize freebies are NOT ELIGIBLE to take part in the contest.
  • The email, invariably, must be designed in 2017 and participant should have the right to submit the email for the contest.
  • Each entrant certifies, through submission to the contest, that the entry is his or her own original creative work and does not violate or infringe the creative work of others, as protected under copyright law.
  • Participants will have to submit their design files in .jpg, .gif or video formats to contest.emailmonks.com. Entries should only be submitted through the landing page. Any other mode of submission will stand disqualified. No other format would be considered.
  • Pro Tip: Add "View Online" link for your email in the email description when you submit the entry to let the viewers experience the email interactivity.
  • Email design entries can be:
    1. Fresh design
    2. Own campaign design
    3. Design prepared for a client
  • Only one entry will be permitted per person – Choose your best!
  • Entries received later than 10th January 2018, 11:59 PM ET will not be considered for the contest.
  • The emails must not be filled with lorem ipsum, but rather have authentic content created for real brands.
  • The top 3 winning entries stand a chance to get featured on Really Good Emails, given the following conditions:
    1. The emails should meet their standards.
    2. They should be coded, not just flat designs.

Terms & Conditions

  • Contest entry constitutes agreement to adhere to the rules and stipulations set forth by the contest organizers.
  • The Jury has the right to disqualify any entries that seem inappropriate or otherwise not in good taste as determined by the Jury in their sole discretion.
  • The information you provide on the entry page may be shared with our partners.
  • By entering the contest, the entrant agrees to hold harmless EmailMonks for all legal and administrative claims, to include associated expenses that may arise from any claims related to his or her submission or its use.
  • Participants would retain all ownership rights of the email they have submitted. However, by entering the competition, participants hereby grant EmailMonks a universal, un-conditional, non-exclusive, non-expiring, and royalty-free license to use, and distribute the entire email or a part of it for promotion, display, etc. whatsoever. This includes but is not limited to website display, social media, print materials, and exhibits without accounting, notification, or other obligation to the participants.
  • EmailMonks reserves the right to use finalist winners’ names and entries for educational publicity and/or promotional purposes, including website or exhibition of Top 10 winning entries.
  • EmailMonks will not be responsible for any claims or complaints from third parties about any disputes of ownership regarding the images.
  • Winners are responsible for all taxes or other fees connected with the prize received.
  • EmailMonks will not respond to any claims or inquiries regarding contest rules.
  • EmailMonks has the final say on any point not outlined in the entry rules.
  • Information requested on the entry form will be used to determine if the contest entry is meeting its goals, purposes, and audience. Submission of this information is also necessary to contact entrants for prizes.
  • All legal issues will be governed by jurisdiction of India.
  • All rules and regulations are subject to reasonable change, if required. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you automatically agree to the future changes.

Point Scoring System

  • 1 vote = 1 point
  • 1 Facebook like = 1 point
  • 1 Facebook share = 2 points
  • 1 tweet = 3 point
  • 1 Google+ share = 1 point

Judging Criteria

The submitted email design entries will be judged based on the following parameters:

  • Originality and uniqueness of concept
  • Visual ‘WOW’ factor
  • Innovation in conveying the message
  • Usage of Brand Personality to reinforce the design
  • Inclusion of Interactive Elements
  • Incorporation of Humor, Emotion or Fun

The Final Verdict

  • Top 50 participants will be shortlisted by the votes.
  • 10 finalists will be chosen based on voting and the scores of the judges.
  • They will be intimated through email and they will have to submit the documents for proof by 30th January 2018.
  • The final winners will be announced on 31st January 2018.
